Common Reasons for Dog Barking Problems

I cannot get the thought of barking dogs off my mind this morning. That is due to laying awake listening to my neighbor’s insane buy Cymbalta online pack of dogs barking at coyotes all night long. I had all night long to think about the many nearby dogs that suffered from a variety of barking issues. It became obvious that my otherwise tranquil and peaceful neighborhood was really a home to a bunch of problem barkers.

I have written a short list of just some of the commonest reasons that cause dogs to bark in excess . You will have some work to do with your dog to correct the problem if he suffers from this behavior-actually I diet pill acomplia think we suffer a lot more from the barking than they do. It is unfortunate that this is a problem that will not stop until you take the time to work with your pet to correct it.

  • One very common reason that a dog will start barking is when it sees another dog or a stranger somewhere within its visual range. This behavior is easy to understand, because it is very natural for a dog to want to protect its family and territory from others. This becomes an issue if the dog does not stop its barking after even after the stimulus has been long gone. When the dog no longer sees the object of his barking, he gets some positive feedback-thinking that his barking has scared it away.
  • Another frequent reason for the problem to start is when your dog hears another dog-or, let’s say coyotes like in my case-and then begins a sort of  dog to dog conversation that goes on forever.  You can train your dog to stop doing this if he is one of those talkative dogs. You should want to correct your dog if he has this excessive barking problem, for the good of both you and the neighbors.
  • Stressed out and insecure dogs are likely to bark for insignificant reasons. Because they just aren’t feeling secure in their surroundings they will bark out of nervousness. Unless they are with their masters, this kind of dog barking problem can happen throughout the day or night. A buddy of mine had a dog that was so nervous, I actually saw it barking furiously at a leaf that fell from a tree. Now that was a very nervous dog. It doesn’t take a big leap of imagination to realize that this dog barked all cialis online the time-for nothing.
  • If a dog is bored and lonely enough he may start a barking rant, just to let everyone else know how he feels.  A dog that is left alone most of the time and doesn’t get enough attention and playtime and  from its master is the most likely dog to have this behavior.
  • Sometimes a dog just wants your attention, and will continue to bark at you until he gets it-he doesn’t care if you are busy doing something else. If this is the case, though, he really isn’t respecting you as the Alpha dog, or he wouldn’t try that. the problem with letting this happen, is that in your dog’s mind he is training you-not the other way around. I have been through this with my Lab-she liked  to bark at me when she was bored and wanted to play-she was trying to train me, and did a  good job of it too-until I learned better and stopped responding.
